Fun Facts:

  • The Greenville Zoo has two elephants Joy and Ladybird.
  • Joy has been a resident of the Greenville Zoo since 1977 and Ladybird since 2006.
  • Ladybird enjoys having her tongue scratched by the keepers when she receives her morning bath.
