All member adults and children age two and under must either have a paper ticket or show their electronic ticket on a smartphone to be admitted.
All members must show their membership card and photo ID along with their event ticket.
While non-member tickets may be given to another person, member tickets can only be given to another member, who must show their membership card and photo ID.
Each person who purchases a child's admission ticket will receive a drawstring backpack for the child to trick-or-treat with. The backpacks are sponsored by Harvest Hope Food Bank and no other bags will be permitted.
Presenting sponsor Banfield Pet Hospital has donated the candy, which will be Mars brand products. The Mars company is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and its products are RSPO-certified. This supports the Greenville Zoo’s effort to reduce the negative impacts of palm oil cultivation, which is the single greatest threat facing wild orangutans today.
Boo in the Zoo 30th anniversary t-shirts will be for sale at the Safari Gift Shop for $20 (adult sizes) and $15 (youth sizes).
The following will also be for sale: Halloween light-up necklaces ($5); Hawaiian leis ($5) and glow-in-dark necklaces (3 for $5). Cash or credit cards accepted.
A portion of the event proceeds will be contributed to the Association of Zoos & Aquariums' Saving Animals from Extinction (SAFE) program.
Everyone is encouraged to dress in costume and to have a SPOOKTACULAR time!!
We're excited to have Banfield Pet Hospital as the presenting sponsor this year, and would like to say a special thank you to all of our sponsors for making Boo in the Zoo such a great event!
