Princess & Pirate Save the Frogs Day

Princess and Pirate:
Save the Frogs Day

Princess and Pirate: Save the Frogs Day
Saturday, April 29 • 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. • Live Music by Hans Wolff

In an effort to raise awareness of the rapid disappearance of frog species worldwide, the Greenville Zoo will host Save The Frogs Day. The annual event will feature educational activities as well as frog-inspired arts and crafts.

An important part of determining a frog species involves their DNA. DNA gives all living things their unique characteristics. Come isolate strawberry DNA and see what it looks like, with volunteers from Clemson University Life Sciences Outreach Center!

Children ages 12 and under, who attend the event dressed as a princess or pirate, will receive half-price admission with a paid adult admission, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Princess and Pirate characters will also be strolling the zoo grounds, so bring your camera!
