Each year the Greenville Zoo receives numerous requests for complimentary admission tickets. As you may expect, it is not possible to honor every request. The Zoo receives over 60 percent of its total revenue from admissions, which makes it necessary to limit the number of admission tickets that are distributed each year. The approximate annual maximum will be 150 and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
The following guidelines should help determine if your organization is eligible for complimentary tickets.
Eligibility requirements:
Nonprofit organizations (501-(c) (3)) requesting tickets for fundraisers will be given a maximum of six (6) tickets. Fundraisers include auctions and raffles, but NOT door prizes. Only organizations in Greenville County, SC or adjoining counties are eligible. Please note: Tickets are valid for regular admission, not special events, and have a six-month expiration date. Sorry, we are unable to provide annual passes or memberships. Organizations may make one request per year.
How to apply:
Nonprofit organizations requesting tickets will need to provide the following information on the organization’s letterhead:
Event Name
Event Date
Planned use of tickets
Number of tickets requested
Name of contact person
Contact email address
Daytime phone number
Non-profit/Tax ID
Mail to: Greenville Zoo, 150 Cleveland Park Drive, Greenville, SC 29601.
Or fax to: (864) 467-4314.
Every application received will be acknowledged. Please allow at least two weeks for a response.
Please note that phone calls will not be accepted. If you have a general question or a question about the status of a request, please e-mail
zooinfo@greenvillesc.gov and you will receive a response as soon as possible.
