Do you have questions about elephants, giraffes, orangutans, spider monkeys, snakes and toucans? On Tusdays, you'll find an instructor at select exhibits ready to answer your questions:

10:30 am and 12:30 pm

March:

10:30 am: Alligators
12:30 pm: South American Section

April:
10:30 am: Giraffes
12:30 pm: Orangutans

May:
10:30 am: Elephants
12:30 pm: Spider Monkey/Lemurs


The Year of the FrogThe Year of the Frog

The Greenville Zoo and The Association of Zoo and Aquariums are celebrating 2008 as the Year of the Frog. Amphibians such as frogs, toads and salamanders are becoming extinct. There is a major conservation effort to address this amphibian crisis. More info

Conservation and International Migratory Bird Day - May 3

Join us as we celebrate Conservation and International Migratory Bird Day. Many local vendors will be on hand to share information, including: Ten Thousand Villages, S.C. Wildlife Federation, Sierra Club, Paris Mountain State Park, Happy Cow Creamery, Save our Saluda, Earth Fair and many more!

Endangered Species Day
Celebration - May 20

Did you know that May 16th is Endangered Species Day? Join us on Tuesday, May 20th as we discover why animals are becoming endangered and what we can do to help save them.
