Zoo Tots
Zoo Tots is designed for one parent and their toddler (ages two and three) and provides
an opportunity to discover the fascinating world of animals. Classes are held in
the Conservation Station and combine "on your own explore time" with a more structured
“animal time”. Snack and arts and craft time are also included. Programs are limited
to 14 children and fill quickly, so register early!
Zoo Tots Program Dates
April 2, 5 and 12: On Behalf of Giraffe -
Discover all the things that make a giraffe
a giraffe.
Times: 10:15-11 am for 2-year-olds; 11:15-Noon for 3-year olds.
May 3, 10 and 14: Tops and Bottoms -
Learn how noses and toes tell a lot about animals.
Times: 10:15-11 am for 2-year-olds; 11:15-Noon for 3-year olds.
Program Costs: $10 for Zoo Members; $15 for Non Members

Saturday Safaris
Saturday Safaris meet in the Conservation Station and are designed to help children
discover the fascinating world of animals. Children (ages 4-5 and 6-9) will
meet to learn about animals through lessons with crafts, games and activities, trips
into the zoo and animals in the classroom.

April 5 and 12: All Things Giraffe -

Times: 2-4 pm. April 5 is for ages 4 and 5; April 12 is for ages 6-9
May 17: Wet and Wild -
Jump In - the water's great! Explore wild creatures
that make their homes in web places.
Times: 10-Noon for 4 and 5 year olds; 2-4 pm for 6 to 9 year olds

Adventure Days
Offered during spring and winter school breaks
What better way for children ages 6-11 to spend a school break than at the zoo? Join us for a fun-filled day of games, crafts, lessons, behind the scenes and more! Bring a snack and a drink. Lunch (hotdog, chips & a drink) will be provided. Times: 10am-3pm

Zoo Camp
Children ages 3-14 are invited to join us for all kinds of fun as they learn about animals and the wild places they live. Play games! Make crafts! See animals in the classroom! Take behind-the-scenes trips to areas like animals' dens and the zoo kitchen. But the fun doesn't stop there! Camps are held throughout the summer months.
