Princess and Pirate: Save the Frogs DayIn an effort to raise awareness of the rapid disappearance of frog species worldwide, the Greenville Zoo will host Save The Frogs Day. The annual event will feature educational activities, frog-inspired arts and crafts. Adding a special twist to the event, children ages 12 and under who attend the event dressed as a princess or pirate will receive half price admission. Tell Me About it TuesdaysAre you planning on visiting the Zoo without an education program? Do you have questions about the giraffes, orangutans or toucans? On Tuesdays at 10:30 am & 12:30 pm you will find a representative of the Zoo’s Education Department at select exhibits answering any questions you might have. Open to the general public.

Wild for Reading WednesdaysWiggle on over to the zoo with your little book worm! On Wednesdays, September through May, the education department will celebrate reading with a new book and animal friend. Join us during this free program near the Farmyard Exhibit at the Greenville Zoo for a reading of a children’s book then a live animal presentation.
