Parking

Two free parking lots are located directly across from the zoo entrance. Additional parking is provided for special events.

Directions

If you will be traveling to Greenville:

Coming from Atlanta/Anderson (heading north on I-85)

  1. Take exit 42 to I-185/US 29 (the first Greenville exit)
  2. Bear left and use the left lane to Greenville
  3. At first traffic light I-85 ends
  4. From this light proceed straight ahead on US 29
  5. Travel for approximately 2.3 miles to traffic light at East Washington Street (just beyond bridge)
  6. Turn right and go 0.3 miles to traffic light, then turn left on East Washington Street
  7. Proceed 0.3 miles to Greenville Zoo sign on right and turn right at sign

Coming from Charlotte/Spartanburg (heading south on I-85)

  1. Travel to I-385 and take it into Greenville
  2. Take exit 42 and turn left at the bottom of the ramp
  3. Go 2 blocks and turn right onto East Washington Street
  4. Proceed 0.3 miles to Greenville Zoo sign on left and turn left at sign

Coming North on I-385

  1. Travel to I-385 and take it into Greenville
  2. Take exit number 42 and turn left at the bottom of the ramp
  3. Go 2 blocks and turn right onto East Washington Street
  4. Proceed 0.3 miles to Greenville Zoo sign on left and turn left at sign

Coming from Asheville/Hendersonville/Travelers Rest

  1. Take US 25 south to Travelers Rest where it will join with US 276
  2. Take US 276 into Greenville for approx 6.5 miles to Stone Avenue
  3. Turn left onto Stone Avenue and continue 1.9 miles to East Washington Street
  4. Turn right onto East Washington Street
  5. Proceed 0.3 miles to Greenville Zoo sign on left and turn left at sign

Coming from Clemson/Easley

  1. Take US 123 into downtown Greenville
  2. Turn right onto West Washington Street and go to the 5th red light
  3. Turn left onto East Washington Street
  4. Proceed 0.3 miles to Greenville Zoo sign on right and turn right at sign

Coming from Greer/Taylors 

  1. Take US 29 to Greenville
  2. Look for Red Lobster at the intersection of US 29 and US 291 
  3. From the Red Lobster proceed approximately 2 miles and turn left on Stone Avenue (US 276)
  4. Proceed 0.8 miles and turn right onto East Washington Street
  5. Go 0.3 miles to Greenville Zoo sign on left and turn left at sign

Coming north on Highway 25 

  1. Travel US 25 North until it meets US 291 North
  2. Go straight ahead on US 291 and cross I-85
  3. From I-85 go approximately 3.3 miles and turn right onto East Antrim Drive
  4. Travel 1/4 mile and turn left onto Laurens Road (US 276)
  5. Proceed 1.2 miles and turn left onto East Washington Street
  6. Go 0.3 miles to Greenville Zoo sign and turn left at sign
