Dear Zoo Member,
The Greenville Zoo’s top priority is the health and safety of our staff, guests and animals, and we are taking the necessary precautions to reduce opportunities for the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). After careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel all Zoo events through May 10th.
We appreciate your continued support and want to assure you that you will not lose any time on your membership. Once we have a firm reopening date, we will be extending your membership to make up for the time the Zoo is closed. In addition, if you renew your membership during the Zoo closure, it will be valid for one year from the date the Zoo reopens or one year from your current expiration date – whichever is later – so that your membership remains valid for a full year.
Whether you’re a longtime member or brand new to our family, your MEMBERSHIP means more than just unlimited visits to the Zoo. Your membership fees help fund animal care, animal enrichment, food, medical supplies, and various projects. We need your support during this time as we continue providing care for our animals.
Please know that the animal care team and other essential personnel continue to provide excellent care for the animals while the Zoo is temporarily closed. Join the Greenville Zoo on Facebook Live each weekday for live animal encounters and keeper check ins.
