Dear Friend,
#GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving, is here, and your support is more important now than ever. The Greenville Zoo has been closed since March 14 and all events through May have been cancelled. With our gates closed and events cancelled or postponed, our critical earned revenue that helps fund our people and mission is lost.
We are now facing a $1M shortfall to complete the new lions’ den and exhibit, which may result in the need for us to send our lions to another zoo. Lions have lived at the zoo for 48 years and are a favorite of visitors. We are asking our friends and supporters to help us keep our lions. Find out more information at greenvillezoofoundation.org.
The Greenville Zoo has been a beloved part of the Upstate community since 1960. With your support, it can continue to awe and inspire generations for years to come.
Thank you for your generosity and commitment to the Greenville Zoo.
