We miss you and are ready to open our gates as soon as it is safe to do so. We are working diligently to implement proper policies and procedures to ensure the safety of the staff, guests, and animals, and we hope to announce a date soon.

Greenville Giving Women Grant Recipient

We are excited to be a recipient of the Greenville Women Giving grant for 2020! The Greenville Zoo Foundation will receive a $75,000 grant from Greenville Women Giving for a new leopard holding enclosure at the Greenville Zoo. We are one of 7 recipients of funds totaling $541,000.

Greenville Women Giving is a philanthropic women's collective giving organization created as a special initiative of the Community Foundation in 2006. Since its founding, GWG has awarded 123 grants totaling over $6.5 million and has grown to over 530 members. Learn more about Greenville Women Giving at www.greenvillewomengiving.com.

Zoo Landscaping

This week our team was hard at work on a new landscaping project, and we're excited to show you the final product. What used to be a grassy hill is now a landscaped garden that will welcome you into the zoo. Thank you to our maintenance and guest services team, and the City of Greenville Parks and Recreation for your hard work!

This week brought us new friends and partners and showed us just how much the community cares about the Zoo. We had 95 people donate for a total of $8,400.00. We have a large funding need, but we are closer because of your gifts.

Our web page, greenvillezoofoundation.org/closure-support, will remain open as long as our Zoo is closed. Any donation you make will be invaluable as work to get through the closure and make our Zoo the best it can be. Thank you for your support!
