First FREE 2019 FrogWatch Training: 10 a.m., Saturday, January 19!
FrogWatch USA volunteers learn to identify frog and toad species by their calls during the breeding season, and how to report their findings. They also learn how to register a wetland site and make visits from February through August to collect data on the calls of frogs and toads. The training includes two hours spent in the classroom at the city public works office, 475 Fairforest Way, Greenville. Then the class will move to Lake Conestee Nature Park to walk existing monitoring sites.
The next training session will be held Saturday, February 9 at 10:00 a.m.
