We're Ready to Open

The Greenville Zoo Reopens
Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m.

We've been closed for two weeks for annual maintenance and the staff has been hard at work on special projects to make the zoo a better place for the animals and for you!

We’ve trimmed trees, painted buildings, moved walls and more. There's even a new mural in Cub Kingdom, so come check us out this weekend!

The Greenville Zoo is hard at work!

New Baby to Love on Valentine's Day

Stewie and Nyoni, our resident Red-tailed Guenons, welcomed their first baby on Monday, February 4. The baby will stick close to mom for a while, so we don't know the gender yet.

The baby Guenon doesn't have the distinctive white spots on its nose, which are used to highlight facial expressions, like Stweie and Nyoni, but its fur will whiten with age and change over the next few months.

The Guenons love being outside and basking in the morning sun, so stop in soon to see our newest resident!
