Enrichment Day

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Zoo

Get an inside glimpse of how the zoo staff use enrichment to address an animal's social, psychological and physical needs. Zookeepers and education docents will be available throughout the day to answer questions and explain the enrichment process.  

iMAGINE Upstate

11 a.m. – 5 p.m. in downtown Greenville

Be sure to check out ScanSource STEAMFARI, a zoo-inspired exhibit at iMAGINE Upstate that will feature interactive displays and hands-on activities. The exhibit blends ScanSource’s technology with the Greenville Zoo’s life science curriculum.
You can take control of a pan-tilt-zoom security camera to spy on “zoo animals” across the falls, see how a snake hunts using thermal vision and learn how zoo experts track animals using RFID technology.
