Can I use my reciprocal zoo membership to get the member rate?: Reciprocal zoo memberships are not valid for special events including Boo in the Zoo.

1. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?: All attendees participating in the trick-or-treater experience must purchase a trick-or-treater ticket. Trick or treating is available for all ages. Members must show their member card and photo ID. Adults must be accompanied by a child for entry.

2. Where do I park?

Free, on-site parking is available in Cleveland Park including handicap accessible spots.

3. Can I bring my pet to the event?: No pets are allowed.

4. Do I need to bring a trick-or-treating bag?: Yes, please bring your own trick or treating bag. Bags will not be provided.

5. Will the animals be on exhibit during the event?: The lagoon and alligator exhibit will be closed to the public. All other exhibits will be open during Boo in the Zoo. Some of our animals will retire to their dens around dusk.

6. What is the “Scare Factor” of the event?: Boo in the Zoo is an event geared for kids of all ages. While some of our decorations may be a little spooky, all of our decorations are family friendly.

7. Can I buy tickets at the event?: Yes, guests who purchase their tickets at the ticket booth will be subject to a $2 up-charge per ticket.

8. Can I use my reciprocal zoo membership to get the member rate?: Reciprocal zoo memberships are not valid for special events including Boo in the Zoo.

9. I have “Guest/Complimentary Tickets.” Can I use them for this event?: “Guest & Complimentary Tickets” are not valid for special events.

10. I have a baby, do you charge for babies?: We do not charge for babies (ages 0-1), however, if you want them to be able to trick-or-treat, you will need to buy a trick-or-treat ticket for them.

11. I’m an adult and want to trick or treat. Can I?: Adults are welcome to purchase a trick-or-treat ticket.

12. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?: You can show the ticket barcode on your smartphone at check-in. Of course, printed tickets are also accepted.

13. What is the refund policy?: All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds, rain checks or rescheduling. Boo in the Zoo is a rain or shine event.
