All attendees participating in the trick-or-treater experience must purchase a trick-or-treater ticket. Trick or treating is available for all ages. Members must show their member card and photo ID. Adults must be accompanied by a child for entry.
Free, on-site parking is available in Cleveland Park including handicap accessible spots.
No pets are allowed.
Yes, please bring your own trick or treating bag. Bags will not be provided.
The lagoon and alligator exhibit will be closed to the public. All other exhibits will be open during Boo in the Zoo. Some of our animals will retire to their dens around dusk.
Boo in the Zoo is an event geared for kids of all ages. While some of our decorations may be a little spooky, all of our decorations are family friendly.
Yes, guests who purchase their tickets at the ticket booth will be subject to a $2 up-charge per ticket.
Reciprocal zoo memberships are not valid for special events including Boo in the Zoo.
“Guest & Complimentary Tickets” are not valid for special events.
We do not charge for babies (ages 0-1), however, if you want them to be able to trick-or-treat, you will need to buy a trick-or-treat ticket for them.
Adults are welcome to purchase a trick-or-treat ticket.
You can show the ticket barcode on your smartphone at check-in. Of course, printed tickets are also accepted.
All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds, rain checks or rescheduling. Boo in the Zoo is a rain or shine event.
Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed inside the Greenville Zoo. The Zoo welcomes any trained service dog in the company of its owner onto zoo grounds. We are happy to comply with state and federal laws to allow this access.

The shelters inside the zoo are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The shelters located just outside the zoo may be rented. For more information on renting those shelters, see Greenville's facility listing. Cleveland Park Shelter Rentals
Yes, we do rent strollers, wheelchairs, and scooters. We offer single strollers, double strollers, wheelchairs, and ECV scooters. These items are first come, first serve and can be rented at the ticket booth.

Yes, shirts and shoes are required to enter the zoo.
Due to Holidays at the Zoo being an evening event, most or our animals will be off exhibit. Ektopia will remain open for visitors during the event.
Santa will be at Holidays at the Zoo on the following dates: December 9th, December 16th, December 23rd from 4pm-7pm.
Pets are not allowed.
